Trick or Treating is over

Now on to Thanksgiving! Except the stores didn't get the message, they've skipped straight to Christmas. I heard an interesting rumor: Spirit Halloween will stay open and rename themselves Spirit Christmas from now on.

Yep.

They'll close for a week or two and then reopen as Spirit Christmas. The box stores are going to hate this. They make a lot of money selling Christmas stuff. Now people can get cheap imported stuff for a lot less.

Reddit is full of videos of teens taking entire bowls of candy. It happens every year. Why do people still leave bowls out when they know the first group of teens that shows up is going to empty the bowl?

Yea. Usually I'd answer the door for the first hour or two while all the little kids were out. But later it's groups of teens and I didn't feel like dealing with it, so I'd just leave what was left in a bowl. It was usually gone in minutes.
