Windermere Today

I drove around Windermere this afternoon. It's a pretty nice place. One neighborhood I went into had some houses that were freaking mansions. A whole neighborhood of them. I'm adding that to my list of places to buy a house when I win the lottery. So far I have:

Heathrow
Winter Park
Windermere

I kind of like Winter Park because it an old town. A lot of the houses are really nice older houses on wooded lots. I just hate the roads, lol. Those brick roads will shake the fillings out of your teeth.

Heathrow is new money. Guys with big trucks pulling Ski-Doo's.
Winter Park is old money. People driving Jaguars and own big cabin boats.
Windermere is people who just want to show off their "connected" lifestyle.

That's an interesting take. I can't say I disagree.
