Welcome to the CentralFloridian.com Wiki!
The CF.C Wiki is a community-driven collection of information about Central Florida. Our goal is to document the region's history, cities, communities, landmarks, attractions, local businesses, and other things that make Central Florida a great place to live and visit.
- This wiki is built by the community, for the community.** You can help by creating new articles, improving existing pages, correcting errors, or adding information that others may find useful.

How to Create a New Page
Have something to contribute? Creating a new wiki page is easy!
- Search first. Use the wiki's search box to check whether an article about your topic already exists.
- Create a link to your new page. Find an existing page where your topic would be relevant, click Edit, and add a link using this format:
[[Name of Your New Page]]. Replace the example text with your desired page title.
- Save the changes. Save the existing page. The new link will appear as a link to a page that does not yet exist.
- Open the new link. Click the new link, and MediaWiki will offer you the opportunity to create the page.
- Write your article. Add your information, then click Save page to publish it.
Example: To create an article about Winter Springs, add [[Winter Springs]] to a relevant page, save the page, and click the new link to start writing your article.
Alternatively, if your wiki has the appropriate permissions enabled, you may be able to search for a page title that doesn't exist and follow the option to create it.
Tips for Writing Great Articles
- Be accurate. Share information you believe to be reliable, and include sources or references when possible.
- Stay local. Focus on Central Florida and its people, places, history, and communities.
- Keep it organized. Use headings, paragraphs, and lists to make articles easy to read.
- Be respectful. Keep contributions informative, constructive, and appropriate for a community resource.
- Improve existing pages. You don't have to create a new article to contribute. You can help by correcting mistakes or adding useful information to existing pages.
