Teen survives fall through pier as king tides batter Brevard beaches

A Titusville teenager is recovering after reportedly falling through the pier at Sebastian Inlet State Park and being swept away by waves.

Sebastion has some pretty rough surf. That's why local surfers like it so much. The inlet kind of funnels the water making some pretty good waves. I hope this fella is ok. And they should fix that pier so this can't happen again. Imagine if a little kid had fallen through, or the tide was out. There are some pretty gnarly rocks below that pier.

I've only been there once, but it really is a nice beach.
