Free Zoo for Vets

From Nov. 7 through Nov. 11 vets can get free admission to the Sanford Zoo. I've been there before, it's kind of small. But there are some cool animals. I especially like the panthers. They are so beautiful. The cheetahs look bored all the time, but honestly, they have nothing to hunt. I wonder if squirrels ever get into the enclosure and get chased by them, lol.

I was just there a couple of months ago. They had a Fathers Day special where you could get in for free if you were with your kid. The giraffe made my 2yo grandson laugh. I don't think he's ever seen an animal with such a long neck, lol.

I used to collect snakes back in my youth. They have a very good serpentarium. The bear pavilion is a good place to chill on a hot summer day. The zoo is basically built on a swamp, it gets very humid.
